Pupil Premium

We are committed to ensuring all students fulfil their potential and strive to assist them in overcoming any barriers they face.

The Pupil Premium is additional funding provided by the Government to raise the attainment of disadvantaged students of all abilities and to close the gaps between them and their peers.

It is paid to schools for each student who:

– Is recorded as being eligible for Free School Meals in the last 6 years (Ever 6 FSM)
– Is looked after (CLA)
– Has a parent serving in the armed forces (SC)

Schools have the responsibility of deciding the most effective use of the funding, in order to provide additional support which will have an impact on the progress of all disadvantaged students.
